Hello, I’m Michelle Walker
I’m a UX Designer with a background in healthcare, where I spent over a decade working in high-stakes environments supporting people through complex challenges.
That experience shaped how I approach design. I learned how to think critically under pressure, adapt quickly, communicate efficiently and understand how people interact with systems in real-world situations.
I transitioned into UX to expand the impact I can make, moving from supporting individuals one-on-one to designing solutions that can reach and support many.
While my background gives me a strong foundation in accessibility and human-centered design, I’m interested in working across a wide range of digital experiences. I enjoy solving complex problems, simplifying information, and creating intuitive products people can trust and navigate with ease. I also come with an artist background that helps shape the creativity and color design I bring to the team.
Currently, I’m building projects that reflect real-world challenges, from improving travel experiences using inclusive and easy-to-use tools and designing upcoming beverage branding and website.
Outside of design, spending a lot of time in nature is very important to me, creating art, spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching sports.
I’m open to opportunities across industries and excited to contribute thoughtful, adaptable designs to teams building meaningful products.
Interests
Outside of design, I enjoy creating art, exploring new places, and engaging in experiences that challenge me to think and adapt in real-world environments. I bring an outgoing and energetic personality into everything I do, and I’m naturally drawn to staying active, trying new things, and finding moments of creativity and humor along the way. This perspective continues to shape how I approach problem-solving and influences my focus on designing intuitive, human-centered experiences.
